Baseball

ja am letzten samstag waren wir abend bei einem cubs game. mein allererstes richtiges basebalspiel. die iowacubs sind sowas wie in amateurteam der chicago cubs und die kennen ja die meisten( wenn auch nicht alle -mama ;) ). ja und jedenfalls haben sie total schlecht gespielt und ziemlich dolle verloren und es hat geregnet so das das spiel eine stunde verspätet anfing aber es war trotzdem total cool und ich versteh jetzt die meistenbaseballregeln und das spiel ist wirkich nicht so schwer. obwohl es echt schwer ist so einen ball zu treffen wenn man das mal selber versucht mit jemandem der nicht mal richtig pitschen kann so as das eigentlich relatib einfach sein sollte .. tja und ich weiß jetzt warum amerikaner baseball und football spielen. ein spiel geht echt über 3 stunden weil die die meiste zeit nur rumstehen und wwirklich gar nichts tun... tja halt typisch amerika ;) hehe

State Track

suchbild-wo bin ich??

ja letztes Wochenende waren hier das State track meet. Das ist sowas wie Iowa meisterschaften. Unsere schule hat sich mit der 4*800m, 4*200m, Distance Med(200,200,400,800), 800m und im Weitsprung qualifiziert. Ich bin 4*2 und distance m gelaufen und wir sind 2ter geworden mit unserer staffel :) und wir haben sogar einen neuen schulrejord aufgestellt :) ja unser unsere jungs sind dritter als team geworden und überhaupt war das richtig cool so in einem vollen stadion auf blauer bahn zu laufen. und jetzt ist schule vorbei und track vorbei und ich hab nichts mehr zu tun. ne aber langeweile gbts ja hier nicht. heute abend ist ein 4h meeting, morgen ist unser track abschluss banquet, donnerstag hat emma ein softballspiel, freitag fahren wir zur outletmall shoppen und übers wochenende fahren wir nach springfield. ja also ihr seht ich bin gut beschäftigt ;)

Class of '09

:) ich hatte letzten Sonntag Graduation und bin jetzt fertig mit der schule. das ist so wie man sich das vorstellt mit schwarzem umhand und hut. wobei man den hut am ende nicht in die luft wirft. ja und dann hab ich ein richtiges diploma bekommen und könnte damit jetzt hier studieren.. ich komm aber erst mal wieder ;) ja und jedenfalls hat die band gespielt und dann sind wir alle einmaschiert und dann haben leute reden gehalten und dann haben 3 schüler reden gehalten und dann wurde man aufgerufen und man hat sein diploma bekommen und dann wollten alle leute fotos machen und ja... und am abend davor hatte ich meine graduationparty und wir haben ein lagerfeuer gehabt und hotdogs gegrillt und s'mores gehabt und es war richtis cool.

ja und am freitag ist State Track.. mal schauen wie das so wird.. und in 17 tagen bin ich ja dann auch schon weder zu hause.. woooo die zeit vergeht viel zu schnell

Kansas City

yoa also wir waren letztes wochenende in Kansas city... 4 stunden im unbequemen schulbus aber es hat sich gelohnt.. also erst waren wir für ein paar stunden in einer coolen outletmall shoppen und dann sind wir ins hotel gefahren und schwimmen gegangen und am nächsten tag sind wir dann in den vergnügungspark gegangen:) ich liebe achterbahnen :) ja und dann war da noch unser konzert wegen dem wir da hingefahren sind aber das hat nur 10min gedauert.. ja also das war richtig cool.. so und ich muss jetzt los zu einer graduationparty... meine ist nächste woche :)

wow ich hab ja echt lange nchts mehr geschrieben.. so und weil ich nicht immer alles 2mal schreiben will kopier ichjetzt einfach mal die email..hehe
so prom is over.. quite an experience… and i guess u’ll have to wait for another month to see more pictures because it takes way too long to upload them and i dont know i guess i could send u a cd if u want me to so u’l just have to tell. And yes i just feel like writting in english so i hope u can read everything. Ok so prom is awesome.. all these pretty dresses and.. ya so Friday was a normal school day except for math because our math teacher was responsible for prom and so everyone had to help set up stuff and decorate except for the seniors because we werent supposed to see it . so there is only me and one other girl in my mathclass who are seniors so we decided we could go outside and just lay in the sun for 45 minutes. By far the best mathclass we ever had. So then we had practice after school and then we went to ammas first track meet. All our cousins were there even the ones from south dakota( i saw them for the last time :( ) and then Saturday morning… so we got up at 9 and went to get our hair done..that took about 1hour.. then we went back, had lunch and painted our fingernails, toenails and did our make up. The guys came over to get us at 4.15 because kim wanted to take pictures. After that we went to brents house and had a really good supper there. There were 14 people there and it was really fun and a lot better than going out to eat. Promenade started at 6. You line up and then every one walks around the school and they announce your names and there were so many people there that came to watch… the bad part was that it was really cold but well it was only for 10 minutes. And then everyone went into the gym and we took more pictures. And then everyone did pretty much what ever they wanted you could go and dance or just sit around and talk. I danced almost the whole time. They had pretty good music. Prom was over at 11.30. so we went outside and it was lightening and raining sooo hard( real amerivan rain like in florida..) so we went down to that one guys house and changed and then went back to the highschool for after prom. They first had an hypnotist and it was a blast… i didnt think that it would really work but it did. And they did so much funny stuff. We laughed the whole time. After that they had food and different games set up( i’ll tell u more details about that when we talk on the phone the next time) and that was over at 4.30 so we went home and i was really tired.But it was such a great experience!! =) So the next morning.. we had a stupid 4h meeting so we had to get up at 10.15 and clean up a cemetery. I was sooooooooo tired… but im fine now. We had a track meet yesterday that was pretty bad..i wonder why.. although i did pretty good compared to everyone else. I won the long jump but only with 15.4 what was pretty good for the long jump pit they had there. It was hard like cement and u really couldnt land. It hurt everytime u jumped. And we lost the whole meet by two points.. thats soo dumb. You cant loose by two points.. and tmro is the next track meet. I hope it’l be better. And then is kansas city =) we'll leave tmro at 7a.m. i'll be soooo tired but oh well i have 4hours to sleep on the bus
so and i'll try to upload some pictures too but i dont promise anything...
